For me, it’s not an angel and a devil that live on my shoulders, but the spirit of lions and lionesses growling greatness into the fiber of my being. In the morning, it’s the vibrations against their teeth that carry me out of bed. It’s a constant reminder that in me there’s a strength that lives. Even when the day seems tough and demons juggle my battles, I know I’m safe with them on my shoulders.
